To see details click on the name and it will show the journey segments, here you can click on the tabs Admissions, Leg information, Purchased ancillaries, Fees and Passanger data to further details.

Or select a prefilled name from the list. NOTE! If the journey is booked with SJ, the booking will not go through without a mobile number filled in.
Select Ticket fulfillment
Select the ticket delivery option under Ticket fulfillment (PDF download, Email or SMS). Note that delivery of the ticket link via SMS must be ordered and activated, as there is a charge for SMS. Orders are placed at Ordering services
When done click Confirm transaction to place the order.
Procedure for distributing service disruption tickets
In the event of traffic disruptions, the traveller entered as the payer does not need to receive a booking confirmation/receipt, as they are not paying for the ticket. To avoid this, untick the checkbox for sending a confirmation to the payer. The traveller will then only receive their new ticket.
Adding another journey to the booking
You can book several journeys in the same booking. After selecting a trip in the search results, click Add another journey in the bottom right corner.
In the dialog Passenger selection for the next journey, select which passengers the new journey applies to. Tick Select all passenger(s) to include everyone, or tick individual passengers only. You can also click Add a journey for new passenger(s) if the next journey includes someone who is not part of the current booking. Click Confirm to continue.
After confirming the passenger selection, a new search view opens for the next journey in the same booking. By clicking the switch icon between the From and To fields, you can easily swap the departure and arrival stations to search for a return journey. You can also search for a completely different journey, including journeys with other operators.
When you proceed to checkout, the Overview section shows all journeys included in the booking. In this example, the booking contains two different journeys – one for two passengers and one for a single passenger – with the total price shown under Total to pay. Here you can also expand each journey for details, remove a journey, or click Add journey to add another one.
The booking is given a shared booking number, but each journey receives its own ticket number.
Putting a booking on hold
In the checkout view, you can put the booking on hold instead of paying immediately, which extends the payment deadline. Click Put booking on hold in the bottom right corner. If the booking allows the deadline to be extended, a dialog opens showing the date and time (On hold until) by which the booking must be paid. Click Put booking on hold in the dialog to confirm.
Note that some operators do not offer the on-hold option for departures less than 24 hours away. In that case, the message "IMS failed to put the booking on hold" is shown, and the booking must be paid immediately – click Confirm transaction to complete the booking (or Cancel booking at the top left corner).
Viewing the booking
When you have completed the booking by clicking Confirm transaction, a confirmation page is shown with the message "Booking [booking number] complete", confirming that the tickets have been generated and are available to download. From here you can click Download to download the tickets, or Back to search to start a new search.
Click the booking number (shown as a link) to open the booking details. This view shows the booking's Details – such as when it was created, who sold it, the number of passengers and the current price – along with the tabs Passengers and tickets, Fees, Route, Payer data, Comments and Booking events. Here you can also use Send tickets and Download tickets in the top right corner.
Booking search
To find an existing booking, select the Booking search tab in the top menu. Here you can search for bookings using one or more of the following criteria: Reference number, Travel date between, Purchase date between, Passenger/payer name, Passenger/payer e-mail address or Passenger/payer phone number. Click + Advanced search to show additional search options, and Reset fields to clear the form. Click Search to run the search.
In this example, we search for a specific booking by entering the booking number (e.g. GI828L) in the Reference number field and clicking Search.
The matching bookings are listed under Search results, showing the booking reference, journey, passengers, payment status and creation date. Click the booking reference (shown as a link in the Booking reference column) to open the booking and view its details.
The booking details view now opens. At the top, under Details, you can see general information about the booking – when it was created, who sold it (Sold by (Organization/Unit)), the number of passengers, the current price, the journeys and the carriers. Below the details are the tabs Passengers and tickets, Fees, Route, Payer data, Comments and Booking events, where you can view and manage different parts of the booking. In the top right corner you can also Send tickets or Download tickets.
Resplus logo with link to the Resplus travel conditions
In the booking view, the RESPLUS logo is displayed. When you hover over it, a text is shown stating that the journey guarantee applies to this Resplus journey. When the user clicks RESPLUS, they are taken to an information page with all the rules that apply to Resplus journeys.
RESPLUS logo with ⓘ and link to Bokningsinfo
If the Resplus journey was purchased through SJ's sales channels, the SJ leg is not shown in TRAID.
There is now a new symbol – the RESPLUS logo with an yellow ⓘ. When the user hovers over it, information is shown stating that the SJ leg can be found in Bokningsinfo. When the user clicks RESPLUS, they are taken to the Bokningsinfo start page, where the booking can be found by searching with the Booking ID or Ticket number.
Limiting the search results
You can combine several search criteria to narrow down the search results. For example, enter the passenger's or payer's e-mail address in the Passenger/payer e-mail address field and select a date range under Purchase date between. When you click the date field, a calendar opens where you can select a start and end date, and also specify the time of day (Time from and Time to). Then click Search to show only the bookings matching your criteria.
Click Advanced search to show additional search fields. Here you can, for example, search by Agent tool user name, which is the user who created the booking. NOTE! Enter first and last name separated by a space (e.g. "Göran Göransson"), not the e-mail address. You can also narrow the search by selecting a date range under Purchase date between – note that the range can be a maximum of 7 days – and by selecting Payment status (All, Paid or Unpaid).
Copying passenger details and payer information
If you are going to make a new booking for the same passenger läter, you can reuse the passenger details instead of entering them again. In the Passenger details step of the first booking, click Copy data to copy the passenger's details (first name, last name, e-mail and mobile number).
When you create the new booking, click Paste data in the corresponding view to fill in the fields automatically. The same function is also available under Payer details in the checkout, so payer information can be copied and reused in the same way.
If you want the payer details to be the same as the passenger details, you can, as before, select the passenger's name in the Prefill with passenger detail drop-down list under Payer details. Alternatively, if you have previously copied details using Copy data – for example from an earlier booking – you can click Paste data to fill in the payer fields with the copied details.
Changing the payer on a completed booking
If you have completed a booking but realise that the wrong payer was entered, you can correct it afterwards. First, find a booking with the wrong payer details (see [Booking search]), open it, go to the Payer data tab and click Copy data.
Then open the booking with the incorrect payer, go to the Payer data tab and change the data (if the payer should be the same as you have previously copied click Paste data to fill in the copied payer details). Click Save changes to save the updated information.
Adding a comment to a booking
Open the booking and click the Comments tab. Under Add new comment, select Comment type and Comment level, and enter your comment in the Comment field. The comment level determines what the comment refers to: Booking, Passenger or Ticket.
Booking is used to comment on the booking as a whole.
Passenger is used to comment on something concerning the passenger.
Ticket is used to comment on something concerning one of the legs of the journey.
Click Post comment to save the comment. Note: it is not permitted to enter personal data in comments, as the comment field cannot be cleared of personal data (GDPR).
Example of a comment at Booking level: Comment type "Booking comment", Comment level "Booking".
In this example, Comment type is set to Passenger comment and Comment level to Passenger. The comment "The passenger is bringing a rollator." concerns the individual passenger rather than the booking as a whole.
Example of a comment at Ticket level: the additional Tickets field is used to select which leg the comment applies to.
When you save the comment by clicking Post comment, a comment icon appears on the Comments tab, indicating that the booking has comments. The saved comments are listed at the top of the tab, showing the comment type, comment level, the agent who wrote the comment, the passengers concerned, the comment text (including the selected leg for Ticket-level comments) and when the comment was created and last modified. Each comment can also be edited or deleted using the Edit and Delete links.
Refunds
Note that refunds can only be made by the retailer that sold the ticket. If the passenger no longer wishes to travel due to a traffic disruption (a so-called unused/futile journey), the operator causing the disruption must compensate the passenger through its own payment system, not through a refund.
A standard refund at the retailer is made by opening the booking, ticking the ticket(s) concerned in the Passengers and tickets tab, and clicking Refund selected.
The Refund selected dialog opens. Under Refund reason, select the reason for the refund: Client's wish, Incorrect sale or Doctor's certificate.
A confirmation dialog is shown with the question "Are you sure you want to refund selected booking parts?". The dialog lists the selected tickets per passenger under Admissions, showing status, ticket number, origin, destination, any applied discounts and price. The total amount to be refunded is shown at the bottom as Total refund value. Click Confirm refund to complete the refund, or Close to cancel.
Cancelling without refunding
To cancel a ticket without refunding it, tick the ticket(s) concerned in the Passengers and tickets tab and click Cancel selected.
If the cancellation is made before the departure time, a refund can be made even after the departure time has passed. However, this does not apply to SJ departures – SJ tickets can only be refunded before departure, and SJ does not support cancellation at all currently.
Cancelling and blocking a refund
If the passenger has been issued a new journey due to a traffic disruption, the original journey must be cancelled and blocked from being refunded. This is done in the same way as a regular cancellation (see above) – tick the ticket(s) concerned in the Passengers and tickets tab and click Cancel selected – but with the difference that you also tick External compensation in the dialog. This prevents the ticket from later being refunded, since the passenger has already been compensated with a new journey.
What happens with refunds after the departure time?
Ticket 1: Cancelled before departure time (not SJ)
In this example, the ticket was cancelled before the departure time, and the refund is made after the departure time has passed. When you tick the ticket and click Refund selected, the confirmation dialog shows the ticket with status Cancelled – the journey details are struck through and the price is shown as 0.00. Click Confirm refund to complete the refund. Since the ticket was cancelled in time, the refund is allowed even though the departure time has passed.
Ticket 2: Cancelled and blocked from refund before departure time
In this example, the ticket was cancelled before the departure time and blocked from being refunded (External compensation was ticked at cancellation, e.g. because the passenger was issued a new journey due to a traffic disruption). If you select the ticket and try to refund it, the error message "The booking does not allow modifications" is shown, and no refund can be made.
Ticket 3: Not cancelled before departure time
In this example, the ticket was never cancelled, and the departure time has passed – the ticket still has status Fulfilled. If you select the ticket and click Refund selected, the confirmation dialog opens, but Total refund value shows 0 SEK even though the ticket price is 120 SEK. Since the ticket was not cancelled before departure, there is nothing to refund.
Sales report
Reports can be generated from TRAID showing the sales made by the logged-in user or by the current salespoint. Select Reports in the top menu to open the Agent sales report.
The report can be generated for a single day or for several days, up to a maximum of 7 days. Enter the dates in the Date from and Date to fields, or click the calendar icon to select the dates from the calendar.
Under File format, select either PDF or Excel.
Under Report for, select whether the report should be generated for the logged-in user (Logged in user) or for the salespoint (Unit).
Click Download to generate the report. To clear the entered details, click Reset fields if you need to reset your choices.
Example of a PDF sales report for a user.
The report shows the user's completed sales and refunds for the selected period. The report header shows the date range, the organisation, the salespoint name and salespoint number, when the report was generated (including the time) and the user name. Below this is a net total of the user's sales, followed by a list showing the action date/time, booking number, ticket number, action type, status, product name, origin, destination, amount paid and currency. Finally, the report is summarised with the total sales amount, total refunds and a net total.
Example of an Excel sales report for a salespoint:
The report shows the salespoint's completed sales and refunds for the selected period. The report header shows the date range, the organisation, the salespoint name and salespoint number, and when the report was generated (including the time). Below this is a net total of the salespoint's sales, followed by a list showing the action date/time, booking number, ticket number, action type, status, product name, origin, destination, amount paid and currency. Finally, the report is summarised with the total sales amount, total refunds and a net total.
Error message – Bad request
The error message Bad request can occur in certain situations.
SJ cancellation
For example, if the user tries to cancel a booking that includes an SJ leg. SJ does not currently support cancellation, only refunds. If the user has first tried to cancel a booking that includes an SJ leg, the Bad request message will also be shown when subsequently trying to make a refund. It is therefore important not to make any cancellations for journeys that include SJ.
Action: Wait at least 30 minutes and then make a refund for the SJ leg.
Logging in
The error message can also occur if the user has been logged in for too long and tries to make a booking without first logging in again.
Action: Close or reload the browser window and log in to TRAID again.
Payer details
It is mandatory to fill in the payer's first name, last name, e-mail address and phone number. If the phone number is missing, Bad request is shown.
