NeTEx file delivery method - fetch from Samtrafiken's FTP

Every time when Samtrafiken produces a new NeTEx dataset it will be published on Samtrafiken's FTP-server.

Companies that should receive this data will each have an account on the FTP-server and are expected to check the FTP-server regularly, typically once a day, for an updated NeTEx dataset.

During normal operations a new dataset will be created on the FTP-server every night. The dataset will normally be created sometime between 22:00 and 01:00.

In case of abnormal operations, errors, system-failures etc. then new datasets or additional datasets, might be created at other times as needed, in order to get operations back to normal.

The files will be created with a filename containing the date and a creation timestamp, something similar to this: "samtrafikensales_20230930_230951.zip"

When looking for new datasets companies should only consider files with the suffix ".zip". Other files should be ignored because it could be a file that is currently being created/copied and those files will then have a suffix ".tmp" instead.

Archive of published files

Previously published files will be stored and be accessible on the FTP-server for a limited time, at least for 30 days.

Since the files are named with date and creation time it is easy for a fetcher to verify that they have read all previous files. That is of course not mandatory since each dataset is complete in itself, but if you want to make use of the information in the changes.csv or changeslines.csv files and not have to update all producers and data, then you want to be sure that you have read the previously exported files.
